A bilingual international school in San Miguel de Allende
NWL Australian School San Miguel de Allende is a bilingual international school in the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage city, serving families from Mexico, the United States, Canada and Europe. The campus runs from nursery (age 2) through middle school (age 14) under the direction of Lic. Ramon Godinez, with full bilingual immersion, Cambridge English at every level and the HOKKU Dual International Certification in middle school.

Nursery through middle school in one campus
The San Miguel de Allende campus takes students from nursery all the way through middle school. Children start with Brain Up English immersion at age 2, move through Knotion project-based learning in elementary, and reach the Emprendizaje entrepreneurship program with Universidad Mondragón in middle school.
Middle school closes with the HÖKKU Dual International Certification — a US diploma earned in parallel with the Mexican certificate — plus Cambridge PET/FCE. Families who want to continue with NWL for high school move to the Corregidora or Zibatá campuses in Querétaro, where NWL Prepa runs the Life Project program, a personal Life Mentor for each student and the HÖKKU Dual Diploma.

Cambridge English and a naturally bilingual environment
Most international schools in San Miguel teach in English with Spanish as a second language. NWL does the opposite — full bilingual immersion where students operate in both languages daily, backed by Cambridge English certifications at every level.
The multicultural makeup of San Miguel means students practice English outside the classroom too — with neighbors, at restaurants, in galleries. That kind of organic language exposure is hard to replicate anywhere else in central Mexico.

Art, culture, and critical thinking in a UNESCO city
Philosophy for Children (P4C) starts at age 2 and continues through middle school. Students learn to question, argue, and build ideas — skills that show up in every subject and every conversation. The Yo Soy Líder NWL program, designed by Tec de Monterrey, develops emotional intelligence and leadership alongside academics.
San Miguel's artistic heritage feeds directly into the curriculum: painting, sculpture, theater, and visits to local galleries and festivals. The campus includes a covered court, science labs, art rooms, a podcast studio, and a cafeteria. More than 90 security cameras operate around the clock.
